1961 Fender Bass VI, Rare super early example from the first year of production with a pre Bass VI prototype logo, Brazilian Rosewood slab board with clay dot inlays, Three early Strat style pickups with metal surrounds predating the later Jaguar style pickups, Tortoise guard, The body date and neck date is 10/61 and is the earliest example that we have ever seen, This is like the early Bass VI that Jack Bruce played, The Bass VI was also played by Glen Campbell (Wichita Lineman) and John and George's predominant bass used from 1968 to 1970,  Fabulous instrument, Cool as can be and a fabulous piece of pre CBS history, VG++, Original Brown hard case
